MiiR does not list an exact timeframe for temperature retention on our products, since there are numerous variables that can affect this. Most importantly, the exact temperatures of what is considered "hot or cold" is subjective. For the most longevity, fill your vessel with either as much ice as possible for cold drinks, or close to boiling temperature for hot beverages, and leave as little empty space as possible.
Variables that can affect the longevity of the insulation of your beverages include but are not limited to:
- initial liquid temperature
- the surface temperature of the vessel
- ambient temperature of your environment
- volume of the vessel
- how full/empty the vessel is
- how often the lid is opened/closed
